Project Description
Dermaplaning treatment is used to exfoliate the epidermal (top) layers of dead skin but also remove ‘Peach Fuzz’
Dermaplaning is the removal of dead skin layers and the soft ‘Vellus’ hair on a woman’s face. The treatment is performed by a trained aesthetician and uses a surgical blade to ‘scrape’ the surface of the skin.
What are the benefits?
Smoother skin
Better absorption of skin products
Removal of layers of dead skin cells and trapped makeup
Removal of the soft downy hair on the face to result in smooth skin
Dermaplaning is one of the most effective, dermatologist backed treatments for dealing with dullness of the skin, wrinkles and breakouts. This is because dermaplaning removes the top layers of dead skin cells and trapped makeup.
It is performed by a trained esthetician (skincare specialist). This treatment is used only on the vellus hair (otherwise known as peach fuzz) on a woman’s face. The result is a smooth skin (and no, it does not make the hair grow back faster or thicker).
